Live Updates: 2023-24 College Football Coaching Carousel (2024)

The silly season of hirings, firings, rumors and innuendo is upon us.Overall, between 500 to 600 coaches change jobs every year in the FBS.Roughly 509 coaches, including 24 head coaches, changed jobs in the 2022-23 cycle, according to 247Sports' data.

Here are the running updates for the 2023-24 cycle.

April 10

Ohio:Ohio has promoted safeties coach John Hauser to defensive coordinator, a source tells 247Sports' Brandon Marcello.

April 7

Oregon/Arizona State:Oregon is set to hire Arizona State's Ra'Shaad Samples as its new running backs coach and assistant head coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.Before Arizona State, the now 29-year old Samples was the youngest position coach in the NFL as the running backs coach for the Rams. In addition to being regarded as one of the nation's top recruiters, Samples helped ASU WR Elijhah Badger earn All-Pac 12 honorable mention recognition last season while serving as the Sun Devils' pass game coordinator and wide receivers coach. Previously helped Ulysses Bentley become a Freshman All-American running back at SMU in 2020.

Army: Wofford tight ends coach Dane Romero has been hired as slot backs coach at Army.

April 3

Memphis: Ohio defensive coordinator Spence Nowinsky is expected to join Memphis as defensive line coach, a source tells 247Sports' Brandon Marcello.

April 2

Memphis:Memphis has signed Ryan Silverfield to a new five-year contract worth $12.25 millionthrough the 2028 season. He led the Tigers to 10 wins in 2023.

Alabama:Alabama is re-hiring John McNulty as an analyst, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.McNulty, a former OC at Boston College and Rutgers and ex-position coach in the NFL and places like Notre Dame, was at Bama as an analyst last year. Now returning to Bama to work under Kalen DeBoer.

Ole Miss:Ole Miss has hired veteran NFL player personnel official Mike Williams in a high-ranking personnel role, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Has about 20 years of NFL personnel experience, including as pro personnel director for the 49ers and vice president of player personnel for the Rams.

April 1

Illinois: Illinois defensive backs coach David Gibbs has resigned due to medical reasons. He is temporarily stepping away from the coaching profession. "Coach Gibbs has resigned from his position on the Illinois coaching staff and will be temporarily stepping away from coaching for medical reasons," Illini head coach Bret Bielema announced. "We appreciate the contributions David has made since his arrival and wish him and his family all the best moving forward."

Gibbs was hired in the offseason after most recently serving as a defensive backs coach at UCF in 2023.

UConn:UConn has hired Tennessee Tech receivers coach Brad Robbins as quarterbacks coach.

March 31

Ohio State/Oregon: Ohio State expects to finalize a deal as soon as tomorrow to hire Oregon's Carlos Locklyn as its new running backs coach, sources tell 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz. After working at places like Florida State, Memphis and Western Kentucky, Locklyn has now developed players like current early-round NFL draft prospect Bucky Irving at Oregon.

March 29

Michigan/Memphis: Michigan is expected to hire Memphis' Lou Esposito as its new defensive line coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. He was previously the defensive coordinator at Western Michigan and led the way for the MAC's No. 2 ranked scoring defense in 2022. He has developed players like current early-round NFL draft prospect Marshawn Kneeland.

March 27

Michigan: Michigan is hiring SMU's Garrett Clawson as a special teams analyst, a source tells 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Clawson, a former All-American kicker at Robert Morris, helped SMU finish with three all-conference special teams selections last season in kicker Collin Rogers, returner Roderick Daniels and punter Ryan Bujcevski.

March 21

Michigan: Michigan defensive line coach Greg Scruggs has resigned from Michigan following his arrest on a DUI charge. Scruggs had left Wisconsin recently to join Sherone Moore's first staff at Michigan.

March 19

Toledo: Former Nevada offensive coordinator Derek Sage has been hired as tight ends coach at Toledo. He replaces Mark Staten, who retired from college coaching.

Akron: Akron has hired Northern Arizona cornerbacks coach Kresean Reed for the same position, reports ESPN.

March 18

James Madison: New York Giants assistant offensive line coach Chris Smith is expected to be hired as offensive line coach at James Madison, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. James Madison's Damian Wroblewski recently departed for Maryland to become assistant offensive line coach.

Virginia/West Georgia: West Georgia defensive coordinator Mike Adams has been hired as linebackers coach at Virginia.

UConn: UConn has promoted offensive line coach Gordon Sammis to offensive coordinator, reports ESPN's Pete Thamel.

March 15

Ole Miss/SMU: Ole Miss is expected to hire SMU’s Alex Brown in a high-ranking personnel and recruiting role, sources tell 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz.Brown, who has been at SMU as general manager and senior director of scouting and player personnel, was a key part in the roster construction that contributed to the Mustangs improving from seven wins in 2022 to 11 last season.

March 13

Michigan:Michigan is expected to hire Lionel Stokes as a defensive analyst, sources tell 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz.

In addition to working at Louisiana with new Michigan DB coach LaMar Morgan, the ex-Louisiana starting safety has also been a defensive coordinator at Jackson State and a DB coach at Jackson and Nicholls.

Michigan:Michigan is pursuing former NFL standout outside linebacker Pernell McPhee for a defensive support staff role, sources tell 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz.

UConn:UConn offensive coordinator Nick Charlton is being hired by the Cleveland Browns as a member of their offensive coaching staff, a source tells 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Before UConn, Charlton was the head coach at Maine.

Michigan/Ohio State: Michigan has hiredOhio State’s Tony Alford as its new running backs coach. Alford had been Ohio State’s running backs coach since 2015.

March 11

Akron: Former Montana State offensive coordinator Taylor Housewright has opted to not become Akron's OC and is stepping back to "evaluate all options," reports FootballScoop.com.

Purdue/Miami (Ohio): Purdue is expected to hire Miami (Ohio)running backs coachJason Simmonsas an analyst, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.

Bowling Green: Former Virginia Tech assistant Cornell Brown has been hired as defensive line coach at Bowling Green.

March 9

Georgia Southern: Safeties and nickels coachDarius Eubanks, a former NFL linebacker, has shifted to linebackers coach and has also been promoted to defensive run game coordinator. Defensive coordinator Brandon Bailey will now work with the team’s safety group after coaching linebackers last season.

Oregon State:Oregon State is targeting Rod Chance for its defensive backs coach opening, sources tell 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz.

Has previously been a defensive backs coach at places such as Colorado, Oregon and Minnesota. Has coached players like current San Francisco 49ers starting cornerback Deommodore Lenoir.

Illinois/Virginia:Illinois is finalizing a deal with Virginia’s Clint Sintim to become its new outside linebackers coach, a source tells 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz.

Sintim, a former Virginia standout LB who played in the NFL with the Giants, mentored first-team Freshman All-American Kam Robinson last season. Entering his 12th season as a coach. Was Virginia’s LB coach the last two years after two seasons as the team’s defensive line coach.

Arkansas:Arkansas is set to hire Kolby Smith as running backs coach, sources tell 247Sports' Brandon Marcello. Smith was most recently an offensive assistant with Miami Dolphins. He reunites with Bobby Petrino. He was Petrino's running backs coach at Western Kentucky and Louisville and was a grad assistant at Arkansas in 2012.

March 8

Michigan: Running backs coach Mike Hart and Michigan have split up, reports The Michigan Insider. The decision was made recently after Hart's two-year contract expired in January. It's not clear why Hart and Michigan separated after three years. Hart is the school's all-time leading rusher (2004-07).

UCLA/San Jose State: UCLA is expected to hire San Jose State running backs coachMarcus Thomasfor the same position,sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Smith was previously an analyst for UCLA head coach DeShaun Foster in 2020 and 2021.

TCU/Arkansas: TCU is targeting Arkansas running backs coachJimmy Smith for the same position, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.

March 7

TCU:TCU has hired former Nebraska assistant and longtime Texas high school head coach Bob Wager in a high school relations role, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Before taking the job at Nebraska, Wager was a high school head coach in Texas for 26 years and coached players like Myles Garrett.

TCU:TCU is hiring former Washington cornerbacks coach Julius “Juice” Brown as an analyst, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Brown worked under Kalen DeBoer at Washington the last two years. Previously worked at Texas Tech and under DeBoer at Fresno State.

UCLA: UCLA is set to hire former Houston Texansquarterbacks coachTed White as quarterbacks coach and former Tennessee Titans staffer Erik Frazier as receivers coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. White previously served as Grambling's offensive coordinator. Frazier was fired after two seasons with the Titans in January 2023.

March 6

Oregon:Oregon is expected to hire ex-Las VegasRaidersand Carolina Panthersstaffer Matt Lombardi as an analyst, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Was an offensive assistant and assistant receivers coach for the Raiders in 2023. Worked with Oregon OC Will Stein at Louisville.

Ole Miss/Western Kentucky:Ole Miss is expected to hire William Vlachos as an analyst, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. The former Alabama All-SEC center had been on staff at Western Kentucky as a blitz and run game specialist. Previously worked for Alabama, the Buffalo Bills, Colorado and Central Michigan.

Ole Miss:Ole Miss is set to hire former Mississippi State head coach Zach Arnett as an analyst, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Before serving as Mississippi State’s head coach in 2023, Arnett was Mississippi State’s defensive coordinator for three seasons.

March 5

UCLA:UCLA is expected to hire Washington State director of recruiting Stacey Ford as its new director of player personnel, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Set to be a return home for Ford, a Los Angeles native who worked at Washington State the last two years, which came after a run as a high school coach in LA.

Oregon:Oregon is expected to hire Missouri State wide receivers coach and co-special teams coordinator Donte Ellington as an analyst, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Ellington helped Missouri State rank No. 5 in the FCS in passing offense in 2023.

Kentucky/Marshall:Kentucky is expected to hire Marshall tight ends coach Derek Shay as a senior analyst, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Will reunite Shay with new Kentucky OC, whom he worked with when he was a senior analyst at Missouri in 2022. Before Missouri, he worked at LSU.

Arkansas:Arkansas is expected to name Jovon Hubbard its new director of player personnel, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Before joining the Arkansas staff last year as assistant DPP, Hubbard spent three seasons under Hugh Freeze at Liberty.

Ohio State/Tulsa:Ohio State has hired Tulsa cornerbacks coach and defensive pass game coordinator Michael Hunter as a defensive backs graduate assistant, a source tells247Sports' Matt Zenitz. The former Oklahoma State and NFL cornerback was an analyst and assistant defensive backs coach at Oklahoma State.

Western Michigan:Western Michigan is hiring former Southern Miss d-line coach Brandon Lacy as its new defensive ends coach,a source tells 247Sports' Chris Hummer.Before his time at Southern Miss, Lacy was thedefensive line coach at Southeastern Louisiana.

Tulsa: Tulsahas hired former Ohio State quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis for the same position. Analyst Dominique Franks has been promoted to cornerbacks coach.

Washington State: Florida analyst Allen Brown has been hired as cornerbacks coach at Washington State, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. He was previously the passing game coordinator for nearby Eastern Washington.

Western Kentucky: Western Kentucky analyst Joe Bernardi has been promoted to an on-field offensive assistant, reports FootballScoop.

UCLA: UCLA has fired offensive line coach Tim Drevno and hired Juan Castillo as his replacement, according to multiple reports. Castillo, 64, worked for newly-hired offensive coordinator Eric Bienemy with the Washington Commanders last season.

Alabama:A pair of former Washington coaches -- including Huskies defensive play-caller Chuck Morrell -- have joined Kalen DeBoer's off-field staff at Alabama.

March 4

Georgia State: Georgia State is set to hire Cedar Grove High head coach John Adams as a defensive assistant coach, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.Before winning state championships in two of his three seasons as Cedar Grove’s head coach, Adams was Cedar Grove’s defensive coordinator. Adams’ hire completes Dell McGee’s first Georgia State coaching staff.

Michigan:Michigan is set to hire former Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants staffer Kevin Wilkins as a defensive analyst, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Has been a longtime right-hand man figure for new Michigan DC Wink Martindale and brings nine years of NFL experience to Ann Arbor. Also worked with Michigan’s previous two DCs, Mike Macdonald and Jesse Minter, while in Baltimore. Experienced working with inside linebackers.

Oklahoma:Oklahoma is hiring Kevin Johns as an offensive analyst, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Johns was most recently the offensive coordinator at Duke and was key in the development of Riley Leonard. Has also been an OC at places like Memphis and Texas Tech.

Kansas State:Kansas State is set to hire longtime NFL special teams coach Nate Kaczor as a special teams analyst, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. The Kansas native was the Washington Commandersspecial teams coordinator the last five years. Was previously the STC for the Buccaneers and Titans.

USC/TCU:USC is set to hire TCU’s Anthony Jones as its new running backs coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. At TCU, Jones has coached players such as 2023 third-round pick Kendre Miller and current NFL draft prospect Emani Bailey.

March 3

Georgia Tech:Georgia Tech is expected to hire Trent McKnight as its new wide receivers coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.He was Georgia State’s offensive coordinator and QB coach the last two years. Was previously a WR coach at Georgia State and was a Broyles nominee in 2020.

Georgia State/UCF:Georgia State is expected to hire former Charlotte head coach and current UCF staffer Will Healy as running backs coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.

Georgia State:Georgia State is expected to retain Antreal Allen as a defensive backs coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.The ex-Georgia State starting safety was a DB coach under Shawn Elliott the last two years and is now set to team with Jeremiah Wilson as the DB coaches under Dell McGee.

March 2

Florida:Floridais expected to hire Cleveland #Browns offensive assistant Jonathan DeCoster as a co-offensive line coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. DeCoster, a Florida native and former four-year starter at tackle at Louisiana, previously worked at LSU and Old Dominion.

Georgia State: Georgia State has added another pair of Georgia analysts to Dell McGee's staff. Bulldogs offensive line analyst Manrey Saint-Amour has been hired as offensive line coach and analyst Ryan Williams has been hired as an offensive assistant, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Williams is expected to be the quarterbacks coach, a source tells The Athletic's Bruce Feldman.

North Texas: North Texas has elevated analyst D'Andre Payne to cornerbacks coach.

Memphis: Former Washington running backs coach Lee Marks has been hired for the same position at Memphis, reports ESPN's Pete Thamel.

March 1

Louisiana: Washington Commanders interim defensive assistant Jim Salgado has been hired as Louisiana's defensive coordinator, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter. Salgado coached cornerbacks at Michigan State in the fall. He is 24th coach from a professional football league (17 from NFL) to be hired in FBS college football this cycle.

Georgia State: Dell McGee is dipping into his past at Auburn to make a couple of hires for his first staff at Georgia State. Georgia State is expected to hire former Texas A&M and Auburn receivers coach Dameyune Craig as an assistant, and Auburn analyst Jeremiah Wilson as defensive backs coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Craig and McGee were teammates during their playing days at Auburn.

Feb. 29

South Carolina: South Carolina has hired Limestone University head coachMike Furrey as receivers coach. Furrey inherited a 0-9 program at Limestone and recorded back-to-back, eight-win seasons at the Division II program. Furrey replaces James Coley, wholeft for the same position at Georgia shortly after South Carolina had hired him.

Georgia Southern: Former Marshall offensive coordinator Clint Trickett is expected to be hired as tight ends and inside receivers coach at Georgia Southern, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.

Georgia State: Eastern Kentucky's Jeremy Hawkins is expected to be hired as defensive line coach at Georgia State, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.

Oregon State: Oregon Statecornerbacks coach Anthony Perkins is expected to be hired as an assistant defensive backs coach with the NFL's Green Bay Packers, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. He is the 32nd on-field FBS coach to leave for an NFL job in this cycle, according to 247Sports' Brandon Marcello.

Cincinnati/Memphis: Cincinnati is expected to hire Memphis' Sean Dawkins as running backs coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.

San Diego State: Idaho defensive line coachDavid Lose is set to be hired for the same position at San Diego State, reports ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Feb. 27

Air Force: Youngstown State defensive line coachDeonte Gibsonis expected to be hired as defensive ends coach at Air Force, sources tell 247Sports' Brandon Marcello.

Boise State: Former Boise State and Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coachDirk Koetter is returning to Boise State to be the offensive coordinator with a one-year contract, according to multiple reports. Koetter was on staff in 2022 as an analyst and was elevated to interim play-caller following a staff change. He entered retirement in 2023.

Florida/Texas A&M: The Aggies are set to hire Florida's Director of Scouting/Recruiting Relations, Joe Hamilton, in asignificant recruiting/personnel role, a source tells 247Sports. Hamilton had been recently promoted at Florida, where he's played a huge role in the Gators' recruiting efforts, including being a huge part of the program's successful pursuit of five-star QB DJ Lagway.

Feb. 26

UAB:The Green Bay Packersare expected to hire UAB offensive line coach Eddie Gordon as an assistant offensive line coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.Before UAB, Gordon was an analyst and assistant offensive line coach at Georgia.

Georgia State:Dell McGee is expected to hire Jim Chaney as his offensive coordinator and Kevin Sherrer as his defensive coordinatorat Georgia State, sources tell247Sports' Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer. Chaney, a veteran coordinator previously at Georgia, Arkansas, and Tennessee, was most recently an analyst at Texas A&M. Sherrer was co-defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech last season and had recently left the Yellowjackets' staff.

UTEP/Tulsa:Tulsa offensive line coach Ryan Stanchek has been hired for the same position at UTEP, reports ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Wisconsin/Air Force:Wisconsin football officially announced the hiring of defensive line coachE.J. Whitlowon Mondaymorning. Whitlow joins the Badgers' staff after two seasons in the same position at Air Force and 14 seasons as a collegiate coach.

FIU: Houston pass rush specialist assistant Kenechi Udeze is expected to be hired as FIU's outside linebackers and defensive ends coach, a source tells The Athletic's Bruce Feldman.

Iowa State: Iowa State has promoted tight ends coach Taylor Mouser to offensive coordinator, sources tell ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.

Baylor/San Diego State:Baylor is targeting San Diego State’s Inoke Breckterfield for its defensive line coach job, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. He was Kalen DeBoer’s defensive line coach at Washington the last two years after working at Vanderbilt, Wisconsin, Pitt and UCLA. He worked with Baylor coach Dave Aranda at Wisconsin.

Boston College: Former Boston College assistant Sean Duggan has been hired as a defensive assistant with the Green Bay Packers, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Duggan rejoins his Boston College boss Jeff Hafley, who was hired as the Packers' defensive coordinator.

Feb. 25

Georgia/Georgia Tech:Georgia is expected to hire Georgia Tech wide receivers coach Josh Crawford as its running backs coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. The ex-Georgia high school coach was in the mix for Georgia’s WR coach job after impressing in the interview process. Now set to be UGA’s new RB coach.

UCLA: Former Washington Commanders offensive coordinatorEric Bieniemy has been hired as UCLA's offensive coordinator, reports Bruin Report Online.Bieniemy made his name with the Kansas City Chiefs as Andy Reid's offensive coordinator (2018-22) and won two Super Bowl titles. He moved to the Commanders in 2023 but was not retained by newly-hired head coach Dan Quinn this offseason.

Feb. 24

Jackson State/Florida:Florida graduate assistant Kali James is expected to be hired as defensive line coach at Jackson State, a source tells 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. James worked at Florida the last two seasons. Was a four-year starter at defensive tackle and two-time team captain as a player at Tuskegee.

Georgia/South Carolina:Georgia is expected to hire James Coley as wide receivers coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Coley, who was previously at Georgia from 2016-19, had recently accepted a job at South Carolina but is now instead on the verge of heading back to Athens. Worked at Texas A&M the last four seasons.

New Mexico State:The Cincinnati Bengals are hiring New Mexico State tight ends coach and special teams coordinator Ronnie Regula as a quality control coach andNew Mexico State is naming Nelson Fishback its new tight ends coach and special teams coordinator, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz.Fishback, aformer Western Kentucky QB, had been on NMSU’s staff as an analyst. He was previously tight ends coach and a special teams coach under Bobby Petrino and Ryan Beard at Missouri State. Has also worked at places like Louisville and Western Kentucky.

Feb. 23

Georgia State:Georgia State is targeting Dell McGee to be its new head coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Job was offered this morning, per sources. Hasn’t been finalized yet but the expectation is he’ll be hired.Georgia State completed initial Zoom interviews Tuesday and then had in-person interviews yesterday with a group of finalists that included McGee, current Duke assistant and former Florida A&M head coach Willie Simmons and Texas A&M assistant Trooper Taylor. In McGee, Georgia State is in position to land a Georgia native who has been a Georgia high school, a coach at Georgia Southern and a key and valued member of Kirby Smart’s staff at Georgia the last eight years.

Feb. 22

Baylor:Baylor is expected to hire Western Kentucky’s Jamar Chaney as inside linebackers coach, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. Chaney, a former All-SEC LB at Mississippi State who played in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles, was an analyst and valued behind-the-scenes contributor at Florida and Mississippi State prior to joining the staff at Western Kentucky.

Oklahoma:Oklahoma is expected to hire ex-San Diego State special teams coordinator Doug Deakin as a special teams analyst, sources tell Collin Kennedy and Matt Zenitz.He helped SDSU rank top-10 in ESPN’s FBS special teams efficiency each of the last three years.

Ohio State:Ohio State has hired Brandon Jordan as a defensive program assistant. Jordan, who has trained several prominent NFL players as a private pass rush trainer, was a pass rush specialist coach for the Seattle Seahawks last season. Was previously an assistant at Michigan State.

USC:The Los Angeles Chargersare set to hire USC running backs coach Kiel McDonald for the same position, sources tell 247Sports' Matt Zenitz. McDonald hascoached players like current NFL draft prospect Marshawn Lloyd at USC after previously coaching standouts like 2020 third-round pick Zack Moss at Utah.

Feb. 21

Baylor:Baylor is expected to hire Tarleton State offensive coordinator Mason Miller as their offensive line coach, sources tell 247Sports.

Western Michigan:Western Michiganhas promoted linebackers coach Scott Power to defensive coordinator, sources tell ESPN's Pete Thamel. Special teams coordinator Jeff Popovichhas also been promoted to co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach.

Feb. 20

Kansas/Northern Illinois:Kansas is expected to hire Northern Illinois offensive line coach Daryl Agpalsa for the same position, sources tell ESPN's Pete Thamel. He previously coached for Kansas head coach Lance Leipold at Wisconsin-Whitewater and Buffalo. He will replace Scott Fuchs, who recently departed for an analyst position with the NFL's Tennessee Titans.

Notre Dame: Notre Dame has completed its defensive staff by promoting graduate assistantMax Bullough to linebackers coach. Bullough previously served as a graduate assistant at Alabama and with the Cincinnati Bearcats. He worked alongside several Notre Dame staffers, including head coach Marcus Freeman, during his time at Cincinnati.
